Data handled by the app

The publisher does not collect, receive or store any data about you. The following information is stored only on your device so the app can work:

• your sources (server addresses, usernames; passwords are kept in the iOS Keychain or Android secure storage);
• your favorites, history, playback progress, reminders and settings;
• a cache of catalogs and the TV guide, for a fast start.

This data is deleted when you uninstall the app or remove a source. Backups are only exported when you ask for it.

Network connections

The app only connects to:

• the servers you configure (your IPTV provider), which receive your IP address and credentials as with any streaming service;
• the image addresses (logos, posters) given by your provider;
• for the demo source, public test servers (Apple, Unified Streaming, Mux, Blender Foundation).

These third parties process this technical data under their own policies. When you open a stream in another player (VLC, Infuse…), its address is passed to that app.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The publisher only receives aggregated sales reports and never has access to your payment details.

QR code transfer

When you transfer playlists between your devices, they are encrypted on the device (AES-256-GCM) with a key contained in the QR code, which is never transmitted. The transfer relay (goatiptv.dashsystem.co, run on Cloudflare) only receives this encrypted data, unreadable by the publisher, and deletes it as soon as it is received or at most 15 minutes after it was sent.

A small export can also fit entirely in the QR code: no connection takes place at all. These QR codes contain your credentials: only show them to your own devices.

Permissions

The app uses network access and, only when you scan a transfer QR code, the camera: the image is analysed on the device and is neither saved nor sent. The app does not access your location, microphone or contacts.

The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts or resources.

The server keeps technical logs (IP address, date, requested page, browser) for at most 12 months, for security (legitimate interest). The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes this connection data for security and delivery.

If you email us, your address and message are only used to reply and are kept for at most 3 years after the last exchange.

Transfers outside the European Union

The publisher and some providers (Cloudflare, hosting) are based in the United States. Any transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider participates, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object and to data portability. Email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL — cnil.fr).

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data, including about them.
